Starting May 3, please join us on Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 6 or 6:15 PM, for a brief time of prayer, mindfulness-based stress reduction, guided meditation with music, and meditation in The Silence.
We will be meeting weekly on Thursdays, weather permitting, at the Gulf Shores Beach Public Park located on the beach road, just west of the Hangout, across the street from Bill's by the Beach Restaurant. Meet on the beach under the gazebo near the restrooms.
There is a beachside parking lot that is free for Gulf Shores residents, and free parking is also available on the side of Bill's by the Beach, just across the road.
Bring a blanket, towel, yoga mat, or chair to sit on. We prefer you bring something you can lie down on, but your comfort level is most important, so discern for yourself what is best. DO bring water for hydration. Wear comfortable loose clothing and shoes you can walk in. We will have an opportunity for walking meditations at some meetings. You might want to bring a notebook and pen for journaling.
